After two years of putting together his debut album, rapper, Flowking Stone has finally released a 27-track album.
Titled ‘Gifted’, the album features different genres of songs which affirm how versatile Flowking Stone is.
The rapper in an interview with Abrantepa on Radio Univers’ mid-morning
show, Brunch2Lunch, said he kept postponing date of the release because
he wanted to give his fans the best of records.
“I’m the type who records songs every now and then. Mostly when I decide
to release the album, I get a new tune which I feel ought to be on it.
My quest to give my fans more than expected is what has been keeping my
album. I used more than two years in putting together this album so
every song and its unique appeal… I believe albums are records. Albums
are for documentation, they depict a particular era. As an artiste, your
process is not completed if you don’t have an album,” he said.
According to Flowking Stone, some of the songs on the album have already
been released. They include the remix of ‘Fire Bon Dem’, ‘Go Low’ and
‘Number One’.
Artistes who were featured are M.anifest, Cabum, Efya, Adomaa, Nero X,
among others. Cabum, Kay Cee, Magnum, Tubani, Genius Selection are some
of the producers who worked on the ‘Gifted’ album.
Touching on his plans after dropping the album, Flowking indicated that
he will embark on a radio tour and drop some of the songs on the album
online for free after which people can buy on iTunes, amazon and other
platforms.
